Business is good for many in Brevard County Florida. The Space program is revving up and our local aerospace community is busier than bees in a hive. That means companies will be celebrating their success by having company parties.
One of the more efficient ways to cater a company party is by having a buffet style event. The caterer sets up a line of food and as people walk down the line they can pick and choose what they want to eat. It is usually best to have at least two lines so that it doesn’t get too congested.
Drinks can be in separate ice chests at the end of the line or there can be a soda fountain. Trash cans should be placed around the room in clear and visible spots.
It is usually a good idea to have a person or two looking over the entire event should any problem arise. This person or persons can make sure the line is moving and that people’s needs are being met.
A good caterer will provide all of these things. And you can usually strike a deal with your caterer to where they will handle everything and you can sit back and enjoy the event.
Remember, a caterer quotes a price for a reason. They have quoted the price to pay for goods and labor and also have a profit margin. You may be able to negotiate some but there aren’t huge margins in food.
