Planning a Beach Wedding?

Beach weddings are very popular for residents of Brevard County, and for most other coastal towns of Florida for that matter. I mean, what is there not to like? You have this magnificent backdrop, cool breezes, sand and most of all, your loved ones.
We have seen our fair share of beach weddings. Many people cater these events so they don’t have to worry about the logistics of supplying the food. We have out together this short list of things to help you prepare for your beach wedding:
- Finding a wedding coordinator. This person is someone who knows the best places to perform weddings and he or she knows the laws and best times to avoid traffic etc.
- Plan the wedding for when the sun is not beaming hot. The morning or late afternoon typically are the best times. Having everyone show up at the beach at 10:00 am should not be a problem.
- Lightweight and appropriate clothing. You want to find the wardrobe to match the environment but still command the look of being a semi-formal event. A simple sun dress for the lady and shorts with a button up shirt for the guy are the most commonly worn items for events like this.
- Having a backup plan. If it is a storm or rainy day, you will want to have a backup plan in your back pocket. Indoor areas that you may have to have on backup are community centers, hotel ballrooms or conference rooms.
